Sons of Norway was founded on January 16, 1895 in Minneapolis. Membership is open to all native-born Norwegians,
those of Norwegian descent, and Norwegians by affiliation (marriage or association). There are approximately 415 lodges and
over 72,000 members who take pride in their Norwegian Heritage.
Vigeland Lodge was founded on 16 November 1992
by the merger of Polar Star and Welhaven Lodges. Meetings are the first and third Fridays of each month at 7:30 pm at the
Highlands Community Club, 1665 Fernside, Redwood City, California. The first meeting of each month is a business meeting and
the second is a social meeting. However, some meetings are replaced by events held on other days. Check Kalendaren to
be sure.
